New details have surfaced in the Karachi drug and illegal weapons recovery case involving accused Anmol alias Pinky. Investigators revealed that the suspect allegedly escaped from Lahore police custody during an operation conducted in 2022.
According to Lahore police officials, a raid was carried out in Shadab Colony on January 7, 2022, after receiving information about narcotics supply activities. During the operation, police arrested Rizwan Baloch, identified as Pinky’s brother, when he stepped out of a luxury vehicle to deliver drugs.
However, police claimed that Anmol alias Pinky, who was reportedly present in the same vehicle, managed to flee the scene by speeding away before officers could arrest her. Authorities later registered a case against Rizwan Baloch under narcotics charges.
Investigators stated that Pinky had been residing with her brothers in a private housing colony in Kot Lakhpat, Lahore. Despite the recent allegations, Punjab Police records reportedly showed no previous criminal record under her name.
Court documents further revealed that Additional Sessions Judge Syed Imran Raza Naqvi acquitted Rizwan Baloch in the same case on April 4, 2022, after police submitted the challan before the court.
Further disclosures linked Anmol alias Pinky to alleged drug supply activities in Karachi dating back to 2008. Sources claimed she initially supplied narcotics at dance parties held in Defence and Clifton areas and gradually expanded her network over the years.
After the high-profile Armaghan case surfaced in Karachi last year, sources alleged that Pinky remained in hiding in Lahore and Islamabad while continuing to operate her narcotics network remotely. Reports also suggested that she runs a clothing business in Lahore alongside her alleged illegal operations.
