Commissioner Orders Enhanced Surveillance for Eid Security

The Gujranwala Eid security arrangements have been finalized ahead of Eid-ul-Adha as Commissioner Muhammad Ali directed all departments to remain fully active during the holidays. Authorities stated that public safety and smooth management will remain the top priority across the division.

According to officials, more than 11,003 Eid congregations will be held across Gujranwala Division during Eid-ul-Adha. Security plans have been prepared for all sensitive locations to avoid any untoward situation during the festive days.

Commissioner Muhammad Ali said that around 7,032 police officers and personnel will perform security duties across the division. Special deployment has been ordered at mosques, Eid grounds, and crowded public places to maintain law and order.

The administration has also instructed law enforcement agencies to conduct strict surveillance and checking at entry and exit points of Gujranwala and other districts. Monitoring teams will remain active throughout the Eid holidays.

Authorities confirmed that divisional and district-level control rooms will remain operational round the clock. Deputy commissioners will supervise the performance of staff and ensure quick response to emergencies and public complaints.

The commissioner further directed Rescue 1122 teams and emergency services to remain alert during Eid days. Ambulance services, medical teams, and healthcare facilities will continue functioning without interruption.

Officials stated that all departments have been instructed to maintain coordination during Eid-ul-Adha. The administration warned that negligence, delays, or violations of official orders will result in strict disciplinary action against responsible officers.
