David Warner Drink Driving Case

David Warner Charged with Drink Driving, Court Appearance Scheduled

Australian cricketer David Warner has been charged with drink driving, putting him in legal trouble ahead of his expected cricket commitments.

According to Australian media, police stopped Warner in Maroubra, a suburb of Sydney, where he was subjected to an alcohol test.

Reports state that Warner had already pulled over before reaching the official testing point, but officers proceeded to conduct a breath test.

After the test returned positive, New South Wales Police registered a case against him and took him into custody before transferring him to a police station.

Media reports indicate that Warner is scheduled to appear in court on May 7 for further proceedings.

It is worth noting that Warner is currently leading Karachi Kings in the Pakistan Super League.

He had traveled to Australia on a short break during the PSL season and was expected to rejoin his team on April 9, but this incident may impact his return and participation.
