Global leaders have widely acknowledged Pakistan’s growing diplomatic influence, particularly highlighting its Pakistan mediation role in facilitating dialogue between the United States and Iran. The latest round of praise reflects Islamabad’s increasing importance in global peace efforts.
US Vice President JD Vance commended Pakistan’s leadership during an interview, applauding Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir. He described them as exceptional hosts who demonstrated statesmanship in advancing talks between Washington and Tehran.
The recognition of Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts extended to the United Kingdom as well. In Parliament, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer endorsed remarks by MP Muhammad Afzal, who highlighted Pakistan’s leading role in easing tensions between the two nations.
According to officials, Pakistan’s Pakistan mediation role has helped create an environment conducive to dialogue. The government’s neutral stance has enabled both parties to engage in discussions without external pressure, strengthening trust on both sides.
Support for Pakistan’s efforts has also emerged from regional voices. Retired Indian Major General Yashpal Mor praised the leadership of Field Marshal Munir, noting that Pakistan’s balanced diplomacy played a key role in bringing both sides closer.
Meanwhile, Canada also recognised Pakistan’s diplomatic contribution. Foreign Minister Anita Anand appreciated Islamabad’s efforts during a telephonic conversation with Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, emphasising the importance of continued dialogue.
As global tensions persist, Pakistan’s Pakistan mediation role is increasingly viewed as a model for constructive diplomacy. Observers believe that sustained engagement and neutrality could further strengthen Pakistan’s position as a key mediator on the international stage.
