Chinese Firms Plan EV Charging Centers in Sindh Pakistan

The EV charging stations in Sindh are set to expand as Chinese companies have expressed strong interest in investing in electric vehicle infrastructure across the province.

The EV charging stations in Sindh initiative includes companies such as Shanghai Jinsun New Energy Technology Co Ltd, which has shown willingness to collaborate under public-private partnership models.

Officials from the Sindh government confirmed that a meeting was held with Chinese representatives to discuss the development of EV charging stations in Sindh, focusing on modern transport infrastructure.

According to investment authorities, rising demand for electric vehicles has created an urgent need for more charging facilities, making the EV charging stations in Sindh project a priority for future planning.

Special Assistant to the Chief Minister Syed Qasim Naveed Qamar stated that the government is actively encouraging investment in clean energy and modern transportation systems.

He added that the establishment of EV charging stations in Sindh will not only support the growing EV market but also generate employment opportunities in the province.

Experts believe that increased foreign investment in EV charging stations in Sindh could accelerate Pakistan’s transition toward sustainable and eco-friendly transportation.
