Hajj Flights Begin From Karachi for 2026 Pilgrimage

Hajj operations Pakistan have officially begun with the departure of the first flight from Karachi, marking the start of the annual pilgrimage season. Thousands of pilgrims are set to travel to Saudi Arabia in the coming days.

The inaugural flight was scheduled to depart today from Karachi, where provincial officials and dignitaries were present to see off the pilgrims. The first group is traveling through a private airline under special arrangements.

According to officials, the Hajj operations Pakistan scheme will facilitate around 120,000 pilgrims under the government program this year, while an additional 50,000 pilgrims will travel through private operators.

Authorities confirmed that approximately 30,000 pilgrims will depart from Karachi alone under the government Hajj scheme. Comprehensive logistical arrangements have been completed to ensure smooth travel operations.

All pilgrims have undergone mandatory vaccinations and health checks before departure. Officials stated that preparations in Makkah have also been finalized to accommodate Pakistani pilgrims during their stay.
