Residents of Karachi are facing renewed difficulties as a new Karachi gas load shedding schedule has been implemented across various parts of the city. The decision has resulted in gas supply disruptions during key hours of the day.
According to sources, gas supply will remain suspended from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by another shutdown from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. These interruptions are expected to impact routine household activities, particularly cooking and other daily needs.
Officials from Sui Southern Gas Company confirmed that gas supply will also be cut during nighttime hours. The schedule indicates that gas will remain unavailable from 10:00 PM until 5:30 AM, adding to the inconvenience for residents.

Several areas of Karachi have already been affected by ongoing gas shortages. Neighborhoods such as FB Area and North Nazimabad reported complete suspension of supply during morning hours, leaving residents struggling to manage basic tasks.
In addition, localities including Malir, Khokhrapar, Landhi, Orangi Town, and North Karachi have also experienced outages. Partial load shedding has been reported in Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Nazimabad, Garden, and Liaquatabad. Authorities have advised citizens to plan their usage accordingly as Karachi gas load shedding continues.
