Pakistan coach Mike Hesson undergoes successful back surgery

Pakistan cricket team head coach Mike Hesson successfully underwent back surgery at a hospital in Lahore, sources confirmed. Hesson had been experiencing a spinal lump, prompting the procedure.

Sources said Hesson chose to have the surgery in Lahore instead of New Zealand, relying on local medical expertise. The hospital team completed the operation without complications.

Doctors recommended a two-week rest period following the surgery to ensure proper healing. Medical staff confirmed that the procedure went smoothly and Hesson is in stable condition.

After completing the recovery period, Hesson is expected to return to New Zealand, sources added. His decision to undergo treatment locally highlights confidence in Lahore’s medical facilities.

While the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has not released an official statement, insiders indicated that Hesson is expected to resume his coaching duties after full recovery.
