In a high-level diplomatic exchange, Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation with French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot. The discussion focused on regional stability and the growing concerns surrounding Lebanon ceasefire violations.

The two foreign ministers also reviewed broader regional developments, highlighting the need for sustained peace efforts and cooperation among international partners to ensure long-term stability in the Middle East.
In addition to security concerns, Pakistan and France reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening bilateral relations, particularly in trade and economic cooperation, signaling deeper diplomatic engagement alongside discussions on Lebanon ceasefire violations.
