Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has praised the Pakistan role in US-Iran talks, stating that the country has emerged as a responsible global actor by facilitating dialogue between the two nations. The party highlighted recent diplomatic efforts aimed at easing tensions in the Middle East.
In a statement issued by its central media department, PTI said the Pakistan role in US-Iran talks reflects a commitment to peaceful conflict resolution. The party linked this approach to its founding principles, which prioritize dialogue over confrontation.
PTI Central Information Secretary Sheikh Waqas Akram noted that Islamabad’s involvement in the Pakistan role in US-Iran talks has enhanced the country’s international image. He urged the government to build on this momentum and work toward a lasting ceasefire in the region.
The statement also addressed ongoing tensions in the Middle East, condemning what PTI described as aggression against Lebanon. The party warned that such actions could undermine diplomatic progress, including the fragile gains made through the Pakistan role in US-Iran talks.
