Abu Dhabi: Fuel prices in the United Arab Emirates have risen significantly, with new rates showing a sharp increase in both petrol and diesel costs.

Petrol Prices Rise by Over 30%

According to the newly announced rates, petrol prices have increased by more than 30%:

  • Super petrol: from AED 2.59 to AED 3.39 per litre
  • Special 95: from AED 2.48 to AED 3.28 per litre
  • E-Plus 91: from AED 2.40 to AED 3.20 per litre

Diesel Prices See Steepest Jump

Diesel prices recorded the highest increase, rising by nearly 70%:

  • Diesel: from AED 2.72 to AED 4.69 per litre
