The US Iran ceasefire has been described as a major success by the White House, highlighting Washington’s strategic and diplomatic achievements. Officials claim the development reflects effective leadership and planning.
White House spokesperson Caroline Leavitt stated that the two-week ceasefire represents a clear victory for the United States, made possible by President Donald Trump and the strength of the US military.
She noted that American forces achieved and exceeded their primary military objectives within 38 days. According to her, Operation Epic Fury was designed to last between four to six weeks from the outset.
Leavitt added that military pressure created favorable conditions for tough negotiations, allowing the Trump administration to push toward a diplomatic resolution and long-term peace.
She also claimed that President Trump helped reopen the Strait of Hormuz, although reports indicate it had remained open, with Iran asserting that safe passage would be coordinated under its oversight.
