Pakistan and China have agreed to further strengthen their strategic cooperation amid escalating tensions in the Middle East, particularly regarding developments in Iran. The announcement came during high-level discussions between the foreign ministers of both countries.
A spokesperson for the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized that China and Pakistan are steadfast strategic partners, sharing common positions on regional and international issues. Both countries aim to continue coordinated efforts to maintain peace and stability in the region.
According to the spokesperson, Pakistan and China will expand their collaboration specifically on matters concerning Iran, focusing on joint diplomatic and strategic initiatives to address the ongoing crisis.

The spokesperson confirmed that despite the heightened tension, three Chinese vessels passed safely through the Strait of Hormuz, with appreciation expressed for the cooperation of all relevant parties ensuring safe passage.
China also expressed concern over damage to historical sites during the ongoing conflict and called on parties, particularly the United States and Israel, to halt military operations immediately and avoid further escalation in the region.
Pakistani Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar is currently visiting China at the invitation of his Chinese counterpart. The visit aims to discuss regional developments, bilateral relations, and global issues of mutual interest, strengthening the strategic partnership between the two nations.
