In the Sarghoda Shrimp Estate, major infrastructure development has been completed, including excavation of most ponds and installation of water supply systems. Officials say the shrimp farming economic zones Punjab project is rapidly turning unused land into high-value production areas.
Out of 126 planned ponds, 118 have been excavated, while construction of supporting embankments and tube wells is nearly complete. This advancement shows strong momentum in the shrimp farming economic zones Punjab initiative, which aims to boost aquaculture output.
