Federal Minister Ahsan Iqbal has said that Pakistan’s international standing has significantly improved, stating that the country’s flag is being raised globally under strong leadership. He credited this progress to the current government and military leadership, highlighting the theme of Pakistan global image leadership.
Speaking at a ceremony in Narowal, Ahsan Iqbal criticized the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), saying the party had once portrayed Pakistan as a collapsed state. He argued that such narratives were damaging, while today’s reality reflects a stronger Pakistan global image leadership position.
He said that under Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Asim Munir, Pakistan has regained international respect. According to him, the country’s diplomatic and strategic profile has improved, reinforcing the message of Pakistan global image leadership on the global stage.
Ahsan Iqbal further claimed that Pakistan had responded strongly to regional challenges, including what he referred to as the “Battle of Truth,” saying the country successfully defended its position. This, he said, contributes to Pakistan global image leadership.
The minister also recalled Pakistan’s nuclear development history, crediting former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif for taking bold decisions despite international pressure. He said these actions strengthened national defense and long-term Pakistan global image leadership.
He emphasized that political stability and strong institutions are key to maintaining global credibility. According to him, sustained governance improvements are essential for continued Pakistan global image leadership.
Ahsan Iqbal concluded that Pakistan’s current trajectory reflects resilience and progress, urging unity and political maturity to further strengthen the country’s standing internationally under Pakistan global image leadership.
