During his comments, Trump also praised Pakistan’s leadership for its role in diplomatic discussions. He said Pakistan requested the US to avoid further escalation during negotiations. Trump described Pakistan’s political and military leadership as “fantastic” and indicated their involvement helped support communication efforts during the crisis.
