Pakistan breast cancer awareness match

Pakistan to Wear Pink Kits Against England for Breast Cancer Awareness

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has dedicated the upcoming Pakistan-England match in Lahore to raising awareness about breast cancer among women. The initiative aims to highlight the importance of awareness and support for women affected by the disease.

According to the PCB, Pakistan’s national team will wear special pink kits during the One-Day International (ODI) against England scheduled for October 25. The initiative is intended to draw public attention to breast cancer awareness and encourage support for affected women.

The campaign is a joint effort between the PCB and Pink Ribbon, an organisation involved in breast cancer awareness initiatives. Through this collaboration, the cricket board aims to use the popularity of the sport to spread an important public health message.

As part of the campaign, the PCB has also announced an auction of specially signed fan shirts. The shirts signed by Pakistan cricket stars Shaheen Afridi and Babar Azam will be offered to fans through the initiative.

According to the board, the money raised through the auction will be used to support the treatment of women suffering from breast cancer. The initiative is particularly intended to assist patients who cannot afford the costs associated with their medical care.

The auction will give cricket supporters an opportunity to obtain special memorabilia signed by their favourite players while contributing to a charitable cause. The campaign seeks to combine fan engagement with practical financial support for patients.
