Russia Foreign Minister Lavrov to Visit China April 14–15

The Lavrov China visit has been officially confirmed by Beijing, with Russia’s Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov scheduled to travel to China from April 14 to 15.

According to China’s Foreign Ministry, the visit is taking place at the invitation of top Chinese diplomat Wang Yi, highlighting ongoing high-level diplomatic engagement between the two countries.

The Lavrov China visit is expected to focus on strengthening bilateral cooperation, particularly in areas of strategic, political, and economic partnership.

Beijing spokesperson Guo Jiakun confirmed the schedule during a press briefing, noting that both sides are working to deepen coordination on regional and global issues.

The visit comes at a time when Russia and China continue to expand their strategic alignment amid shifting global geopolitical dynamics.

The Lavrov China visit is also seen as part of regular high-level exchanges aimed at reinforcing mutual trust and long-term cooperation frameworks between Moscow and Beijing.

Officials from both countries are expected to discuss key international developments and explore ways to further enhance their partnership during the two-day visit.
