Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan has revealed that he was once offered a role in the blockbuster film Main Hoon Na by superstar Shah Rukh Khan, but director Farah Khan later stopped him from joining the project.
According to Indian media reports, Saif Ali Khan is currently busy promoting his upcoming film Kartavya and has been appearing in various interviews and television programs.
During a recent interview, the host asked Saif Ali Khan whether Shah Rukh Khan had ever offered him a role in any film. Responding to the question, Saif confirmed that Shah Rukh Khan had approached him for a part in Main Hoon Na.
Saif Ali Khan shared that Shah Rukh Khan told him the role was an important and exciting part of the movie. However, he added that director Farah Khan later contacted him and advised him not to do the film.
The actor did not reveal the exact reason behind Farah Khan’s decision, but the revelation surprised many Bollywood fans, especially considering the massive success of the film after its release.
Released in 2004, Main Hoon Na became one of the biggest Bollywood blockbusters of its time. Directed by Farah Khan, the film featured a star-studded cast including Shah Rukh Khan, Sushmita Sen, Suniel Shetty, Zayed Khan, and Amrita Rao.
