Naqvi Discusses Counter-Terrorism, Cybercrime Cooperation with Egypt Delegation

The Pakistan Egypt cooperation received a boost on Saturday as Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi met a high-level delegation from Egypt to discuss security collaboration and mutual training programs.

During the meeting, both sides focused on strengthening ties in key areas including counter-terrorism, cybercrime prevention, narcotics control, and the development of safe city initiatives.

The Pakistan Egypt cooperation discussions also included plans to enhance institutional linkages between the interior ministries of both countries for improved coordination and intelligence sharing.

The Egyptian delegation was led by Major General Magdy Helal and included senior officials from law enforcement and technical security departments, highlighting the importance of the visit.

Officials agreed to expand collaboration between the National Police Academy and Egypt’s police academy to support joint training and professional development of officers.

Minister Mohsin Naqvi stated that the visit would open new avenues for practical cooperation and reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to strengthening bilateral relations through concrete steps.

The Pakistan Egypt cooperation is expected to deepen further as both sides plan additional exchanges, including a Pakistani delegation’s upcoming visit to Egypt for broader security collaboration.
