Israeli operations claim multiple Palestinian lives

At least four Palestinians were killed Monday in Gaza and the West Bank during Israeli air and ground operations, according to local medics. Three died in Gaza’s Zeitoun neighborhood when an Israeli airstrike hit a group of civilians, and two others were wounded.

In the West Bank, a 22-year-old man identified as Ramzi Awawada was shot near Hebron. Palestinian sources accused Israeli soldiers of leaving him to bleed while blocking rescuers, while Israel said he charged at troops with a knife.

The fatalities in Gaza occurred despite a US-brokered ceasefire that has been in effect for more than five months. Health officials say violence continues amid Israel’s ongoing campaign against Iran and Hezbollah in southern Lebanon.

Since the Iran conflict began last month, at least 50 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces. Israeli military operations and airstrikes have continued across Gaza and the West Bank, raising concerns over civilian safety.

Rights groups say Israeli settlers have used movement restrictions during the conflict to attack Palestinians. Palestinian authorities report at least five deaths in the West Bank due to settler violence since February 28, with ambulances often delayed by military roadblocks.
