Multan Sultans player release

PSL 11: Multan Sultans Release Farhan, Sohail Masood

Multan Sultans have released opener Sahibzada Farhan and batting coach Sohail Masood for a few days during the ongoing PSL 11 season. This decision allows them personal rest and recovery time.

According to the team spokesperson, players are permitted to take rest or manage personal matters during scheduled breaks. This policy ensures that players remain refreshed for upcoming matches.

The spokesperson also noted that the team’s owner, Gohar Shah, and head coach Tim Paine support giving players complete freedom during rest periods, balancing performance with well-being.

Sahibzada Farhan, a key opener for Multan Sultans, will use the break to recharge ahead of crucial matches in PSL 11. Similarly, batting coach Sohail Masood will focus on planning and strategy during this time.

This short-term release reflects a growing trend in professional cricket to prioritize player fitness and mental health. Teams are increasingly allowing flexibility to maintain peak performance across the tournament.

Multan Sultans’ next PSL 11 fixture is scheduled against Peshawar Zalmi on April 13. Both Farhan and Masood are expected to rejoin the squad before the match.

Fans are watching closely as the team prepares for this key encounter, hoping that the brief rest period will help the players deliver strong performances in the upcoming games.
