Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif met PTI founder Imran Khan at Adiala Jail, where they discussed party affairs and other matters, according to sources. The meeting took place on Tuesday night, sources said.
According to the sources, Barrister Saif briefed Imran Khan on matters related to the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party during the meeting. The discussion also covered other issues concerning the party and its activities.
Sources said Imran Khan’s health was also discussed during the meeting. The meeting came as legal and political developments continue surrounding the former prime minister and PTI founder.
The meeting followed a Supreme Court order concerning Imran Khan’s medical treatment. The court directed the formation of a medical board and ordered that the former premier be shifted to a private hospital.
Following permission from the court, Imran Khan’s sister, Noreen Niazi, also met him at Adiala Jail on Tuesday. According to sources, the meeting took place in the conference room and focused on his health and other matters.
Sources said Noreen Niazi informed Imran Khan about the Supreme Court’s order regarding his medical treatment. The meeting lasted around 45 minutes, after which she left the jail and reached the Dahgal checkpoint.
Noreen Niazi declined to speak to the media after leaving the meeting. Meanwhile, the meeting between Barrister Saif and Imran Khan comes amid continued attention to the PTI founder’s health, legal proceedings and party-related developments.
