The gold price in Pakistan fell on Tuesday after rising for four consecutive days in the local and international markets. The price of 24-karat gold dropped by Rs600 per tola.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Association, the price of one tola of 24-karat gold reached Rs486,536 after the latest decline. The drop came after several days of steady gains in the precious metal market.
The price of 10 grams of gold also decreased by Rs514. It stood at Rs417,126, reflecting the lower rates recorded in the domestic bullion market during the day.
The international gold market also recorded a decline. Gold fell by $6 per ounce to $4,640, putting some downward pressure on prices in Pakistan.
Silver prices also moved lower in the local market. According to the Sarafa Association, the price of one tola of silver declined by Rs100 to Rs7,279.
The latest movement comes as investors continue to closely monitor international bullion prices and market conditions. Changes in global gold rates often influence domestic prices, along with currency movements and local demand.
Despite Tuesday’s decline, market experts expect gold prices to remain elevated. Some analysts have suggested that the price of gold in Pakistan could cross Rs500,000 per tola during the current month if market conditions support another rise.
