The Gold Price in Pakistan increased by Rs5,100 per tola on Friday, marking the third consecutive day of gains in both local and international markets. The latest rise pushed the domestic gold rate to Rs454,336 per tola, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
In the international bullion market, gold prices also moved higher, gaining $51 per ounce to reach $4,319. The upward movement in global bullion prices was reflected in Pakistan’s local market, where gold continued its recent upward trend.
According to APGJSA data, the price of 10 grams of gold increased by Rs4,372 to Rs389,519. The latest increase comes after a significant rise recorded a day earlier, when the per-tola gold price jumped Rs11,300 to Rs449,236.
Silver prices also recorded gains in the local market on Friday. The price of silver increased by Rs280 per tola to Rs6,939, while the rate for 10 grams rose by Rs240 to Rs5,949, according to the latest market figures.
The Gold Price in Pakistan has shown considerable movement throughout the week. On Wednesday, 24-karat gold surged Rs10,000 per tola to Rs437,936, while the price of 10 grams increased by Rs8,573 to Rs375,459.
Earlier on Tuesday, gold prices had declined by Rs500 per tola to Rs427,936, despite a recovery in international rates. The 10-gram price fell by Rs428 to Rs366,886, while silver moved higher by Rs60 per tola to Rs6,351.
The latest figures show a strong recovery in the Gold Price in Pakistan after the brief decline earlier in the week. With international gold prices also rising, movements in the global bullion market are likely to remain an important factor for local prices in the coming sessions.
