Pakistani actress Mehrunisa Iqbal has shared her thoughts on marriage, advising young women in the entertainment industry to consider making decisions at the right time in life.
Speaking during a recent appearance on a private TV program via video link, she responded to a question about marriage and personal priorities.
The actress said that young actresses should not delay marriage unnecessarily, as “everything feels better when done at the right time.” She added that with time, individuals naturally mature, and their preferences and expectations also change.
Mehrunisa Iqbal further noted that setting very high standards later in life can make it difficult to find a suitable life partner. According to her, making thoughtful decisions earlier in life can help avoid such challenges.
She also emphasized that marriage does not mean the end of professional life, as work and responsibilities can continue alongside it.
However, she highlighted the importance of managing expectations, explaining that life does not always offer everything at once. Compromise and balance, she said, are necessary elements in building a stable home.
