The Youm-e-Takbeer Celebration was organized by Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) France to commemorate Pakistan’s historic nuclear tests conducted on May 28, 1998. The event brought together party leaders and members who paid tribute to Pakistan’s defense capabilities and national achievements.
During the ceremony, PML-N France Chairman Raja Ali Asghar Dil led the cake-cutting activity to mark the occasion. Participants expressed pride in Pakistan’s status as a nuclear power and reaffirmed their commitment to supporting the country’s sovereignty and security.
Speakers at the Youm-e-Takbeer Celebration highlighted the significance of the 1998 nuclear tests, describing them as a landmark moment in Pakistan’s history. They noted that the achievement strengthened the country’s defense and enhanced its strategic position in the region.

The participants emphasized that Pakistan is a peaceful nation that seeks stability and cooperation but remains fully prepared to defend its national interests. They said the country’s defense capabilities serve as a guarantee of security and independence.
Tributes were paid to the architects of Pakistan’s nuclear program, including Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan, as well as former Prime Minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. The speakers also praised the Pakistan Armed Forces and the people of Pakistan for their contributions to national strength.

The event featured a telephone address by PML-N France Patron Sardar Zahoor Iqbal. Several party office-bearers and members attended, including Acting General Secretary Muhammad Ali Khan, Chaudhry Naeem Akhtar, Haji Nisar, Shahbaz Kasana, Qaiser Shakeel, Imtiaz Dar, Mehr Shakoor, Faisal Saeed, Mir Qadeer, Yasir Mardan, Sheikh Saeed, Ismatullah Gondal, and journalist Chaudhry Mazhar Jatt.
Concluding the Youm-e-Takbeer Celebration, attendees offered special prayers for Pakistan’s security, prosperity, and stability. The gathering reflected strong support for national unity and highlighted the importance of remembering key milestones in Pakistan’s history.
