Pakistani actress Saboor Ali has shared the reason behind sending her 18-month-old daughter, Serena, to preschool at such a young age.
During a recent television appearance, Saboor Aly revealed that Serena has started attending preschool, a decision that surprised the programme’s host because of the toddler’s age.
The actress explained that Serena currently spends only around 15 to 20 minutes at preschool. During this time, she plays and becomes familiar with the environment before returning home. Saboor believes that these short visits are helping her daughter develop better social skills.
Saboor Aly said she also wanted Serena to gradually learn how to spend some time away from her parents. According to the actress, children should get opportunities to understand how to behave around others and adjust when their parents are not immediately beside them.
Recalling Serena’s first day at school, Saboor said it was the only occasion when her daughter cried a lot. The actress admitted that she felt slightly embarrassed because none of the other children were crying. However, she described Serena as a social child and said she has now become comfortable with the school environment.
Saboor added that Serena has become so fond of preschool that she does not want to come back home when it is time to leave. Her comments have given fans a glimpse into the actress’s approach to parenting and her daughter’s early social development.
