Taylor Swift has added two new achievements to her Spotify record list following the release of The Life of a Showgirl: Encore. The Taylor Swift Spotify records came after the singer released an expanded edition of her album featuring four additional songs.
Swift reportedly became the most-streamed female artist on Spotify in a single day in 2026. Her new song “Patient Zero” also reportedly became the most-streamed song by a female artist on the platform in one day so far this year.
The new records followed Swift’s surprise release of The Life of a Showgirl: Encore. The expanded edition contains four new tracks, giving fans additional music shortly after the original album’s release.
The four songs included in the release are “Patient Zero,” “Cleveland!”, “Pink Clouding” and “Babylon.” Swift had previously teased the new material through a series of Easter eggs before announcing “Patient Zero” earlier in the week.
Swift later revealed that the four-song Encore edition would be released soon. The release added to the growing attention around the album and contributed to the latest Taylor Swift Spotify records.
The singer previously explained that the additional songs were created after she travelled to Sweden with collaborators Max Martin and Shellback. The trip was initially planned as a celebration of the success of her 2025 album, but the group returned to the studio and worked on new music.
Swift described the four songs as being created from gratitude for the strong support and enthusiasm shown by her fans. She is also preparing to release the music video for “Patient Zero” at Sunday’s MTV VMAs, where she is set to receive the inaugural Artist-Director Award.
