Pakistan has rejected reports regarding the alleged presence of Iranian aircraft at Noor Khan Airbase, describing the claims as misleading and baseless. Officials stated that such speculative reports could negatively affect ongoing diplomatic efforts aimed at maintaining regional peace and stability.
In an official statement shared on social media, Pakistan’s Foreign Office dismissed a report published by CBS News. The statement described the report as sensationalized and lacking factual accuracy.
According to the Foreign Office, several Iranian and American aircraft arrived in Pakistan after the ceasefire and during the initial phase of negotiations held in Islamabad. The purpose of these flights was to facilitate the movement of diplomatic staff, security teams, and personnel involved in the talks.

The statement further clarified that some aircraft and support staff remained in Pakistan in anticipation of future rounds of negotiations. However, officials emphasized that their presence had no connection with any military emergency or security operation.
Pakistan also noted that although formal negotiations have not officially resumed, high-level diplomatic contacts between the concerned parties continue. In this context, visits by the Iranian foreign minister to Islamabad were facilitated through existing administrative and logistical arrangements.
The Foreign Office stressed that the Iranian aircraft currently present in Pakistan arrived during the ceasefire period and was linked solely to diplomatic coordination. Authorities rejected attempts to associate the aircraft with any military or defensive activities.
Pakistani officials urged international media organizations to avoid spreading unverified and speculative narratives regarding sensitive regional matters. They warned that such reporting could undermine efforts aimed at promoting peace, dialogue, and regional stability.
