At least nine terrorists were killed in Balochistan security operations conducted in Ziarat, Harnai and Surab under Operation Radd-ul-Fitna 3. Security sources said the operations were based on intelligence information.
According to security sources, a major intelligence-based operation was conducted in the mountainous area between Ziarat and Harnai. Security personnel surrounded a suspected terrorist hideout before launching the operation.
The operation resulted in eight terrorists being killed, according to the sources. Their hideout was also destroyed during the action, while security personnel continued searches in the surrounding area.
In another operation, forces tracked the movement of suspected terrorists between Dasht Katkai and Hajika in Surab district. Security personnel subsequently carried out an operation in Hajika village.
The Surab operation resulted in one terrorist being killed, security sources said. Weapons and other material were recovered from the militants killed during the operations.
The recovered items reportedly included ammunition, magazines, hand grenades, walkie-talkies and a motorcycle. Security personnel continued efforts to identify and clear areas linked to terrorist activity.
The Balochistan security operations are part of ongoing efforts under Operation Radd-ul-Fitna 3. Security sources said forces remain committed to continuing operations against terrorism and maintaining lasting peace across the province.
