President Asif Ali Zardari has returned to Pakistan after completing his visit to the United Kingdom, according to officials at the Presidency. The president arrived back in the country after spending several days in London as part of his official engagements.
Speaking to reporters after his return, President Zardari was asked about his health. He responded that, by the grace of Allah, he was well and had spent a good time in London.
The president had originally been scheduled to return to Pakistan a day earlier. However, his journey was postponed after a technical problem affected the air traffic control system in the United Kingdom. The disruption caused delays to his planned travel arrangements.
President Asif Ali Zardari’s return marks the conclusion of his latest UK visit, during which he held meetings and participated in various engagements. His schedule in London also included interactions with senior Pakistani political figures.
Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi met President Zardari during his stay in Britain. The meeting provided an opportunity for the two leaders to discuss matters of mutual interest and other issues related to Pakistan.
Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari also met his father, President Zardari, in London. The meeting took place during the president’s stay in the UK and was part of his engagements before returning home.
