RAWALPINDI: PTI founder Imran Khan underwent a medical examination at Adiala Jail after a special medical team from PIMS Hospital visited the facility.
According to jail sources, the medical team completed its examination of Imran Khan before leaving the prison. The team included doctors responsible for assessing different aspects of his health.
The examination covered several health parameters, including blood pressure, cholesterol and eye health. The medical team was headed by Dr Arif Khan of PIMS Hospital.
Jail medical staff also assisted the visiting doctors during the examination. The medical team reviewed Imran Khan’s overall health and carried out the necessary medical assessments.
Sources said that specialist doctors from PIMS Hospital had previously also visited Adiala Jail to examine Imran Khan as part of his medical monitoring.
The latest medical examination comes amid continued attention surrounding the health and medical care of the PTI founder while he remains incarcerated at Adiala Jail.
The special medical team left the jail after completing the examination. No further details regarding the medical findings or any subsequent treatment recommendations were immediately made public.
