LAHORE: Pakistan wicketkeeper-batter and former captain Mohammad Rizwan has reportedly decided to contact the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) again regarding the allegations and investigation involving him.
According to sources, Rizwan will write another letter to the NCCIA seeking clarification about the allegations reportedly being investigated against him. He is also expected to raise questions about the status of the inquiry and seek further details from the agency.
Sources said Rizwan will also ask the NCCIA about reports suggesting that he has not been cooperating with the investigation. The cricketer is reportedly seeking clarification on the basis of such claims.
According to sources, Rizwan had already provided access to his mobile phone during his first appearance before the agency. He also reportedly shared the password to his iPhone with NCCIA officials at the same appearance.
Sources further said Rizwan has not received another notice from the NCCIA since his initial appearance. He has also reportedly not been formally informed in writing about any alleged lack of cooperation with the investigation.
Rizwan is said to be willing to cooperate with the authorities but wants written details of the allegations being investigated against him. His latest communication with the agency is expected to seek clarity about the case and the specific matters under investigation.
