The MDCAT 2026 examination for admission to medical and dental colleges is being held across Pakistan today, with more than 138,000 candidates appearing at examination centres across the country.
The entrance test is being conducted in 34 cities across Pakistan, while an international examination centre has also been established in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, for eligible candidates taking the test from abroad.
According to the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council, separate question papers have been prepared for each province. The arrangements are aimed at facilitating the examination process across the different regions and ensuring that candidates can take the test at designated centres.

The examination authorities have also introduced a change concerning identification requirements. The mandatory requirement for a juvenile card has been removed, allowing candidates without the card to appear in MDCAT 2026.
Meanwhile, STS has rejected reports circulating on social media about an alleged leaked MDCAT question paper. The organisation has advised candidates not to trust or share unauthenticated papers and misleading material circulating online.
