Pakistan Cricketers to Receive CPL NOC on August 19 After Champions Cup

Pakistan’s contracted cricketers participating in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) will reportedly receive their Pakistan Cricketers CPL NOC on August 19, allowing them to join their respective franchises after completing domestic commitments.

According to sources, the Caribbean Premier League begins today, while the tournament final is scheduled for September 20. However, several Pakistan players will not be available from the opening matches because they are committed to the National Champions Cup.

The National Champions Cup will be played in Multan from August 11 to August 18, and the Pakistan Cricket Board has reportedly prioritized the domestic competition before issuing No Objection Certificates (NOCs) for overseas league participation.

Several prominent Pakistan cricketers, including Saim Ayub, Shadab Khan, Usman Khan, Moaz Sadaqat, Naseem Shah, and Sufiyan Muqeem, have signed contracts with CPL franchises. All of these players are also representing different teams in the National Champions Cup.

As a result, the players are expected to travel to the Caribbean only after the domestic tournament concludes. Their NOCs are expected to be issued on August 19, enabling them to join their respective CPL squads for the remainder of the competition.

Meanwhile, Usman Tariq and Hunain Shah are also part of the Caribbean Premier League. Since they are not participating in the National Champions Cup, they are not expected to face the same scheduling restrictions.
