Pakistan has intensified its diplomatic engagement as part of its Pakistan regional diplomacy efforts by discussing evolving regional developments with Saudi Arabia and Qatar. Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held separate conversations with senior officials from both countries.
In a telephone call with Qatar’s Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Mohammad bin Abdulaziz Al-Khulaifi, Dar reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to peace, stability, and prosperity. The two leaders exchanged views on the changing regional situation and emphasized continued cooperation.
The Pakistan regional diplomacy initiative was highlighted during the discussions, where both sides stressed the importance of dialogue and diplomatic engagement to resolve ongoing regional challenges. Qatar appreciated Pakistan’s constructive role in supporting stability across the region.

In a separate meeting, the Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan Nawaf bin Saeed Ahmad Al-Malkiy called on Deputy Prime Minister Dar in Islamabad. Both sides discussed bilateral relations and reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening cooperation in multiple sectors.
Officials noted that Pakistan regional diplomacy continues to focus on building stronger ties with key regional partners. The Saudi envoy praised Pakistan’s efforts in promoting peace and maintaining constructive engagement amid evolving geopolitical tensions.
