Pakistan continued its winning run at the Asian Games as both the national kabaddi and hockey teams secured their second victories in the competition.
In Group B, the Pakistan kabaddi team defeated Nepal in its second match. Pakistan produced a strong performance throughout the game and secured a 58-43 victory over Nepal to maintain its winning momentum in the tournament.
The result marked another positive step for Pakistan’s kabaddi campaign at the Asian Games. The team will now look to build on its two successive victories as the competition progresses and aim to strengthen its position in Group B.
Pakistan’s hockey team also registered its second win of the Asian Games with an impressive victory over Uzbekistan. The national side dominated the contest and finished the match with a convincing 5-1 scoreline.
Sufyan Khan was the standout scorer for Pakistan, finding the net twice during the match. Muhammad Imad, Abdul Rehman and Abubakar also contributed one goal each as Pakistan secured a comfortable victory.
The two victories have provided a strong boost to Pakistan’s campaign across both sports. The kabaddi team’s success against Nepal and the hockey side’s win over Uzbekistan have added to the country’s positive start at the Asian Games.
