Pakistan Women delivered a dominant performance against Zimbabwe Women in the second One Day International at Karachi’s National Bank Stadium, securing a massive 206-run victory and taking an unassailable 2-0 lead in the ODI series. The win also became Pakistan Women’s biggest victory in ODI cricket history in terms of runs.
After winning the toss and batting first, Pakistan Women posted an impressive total of 343/4 in their allotted 50 overs. The foundation of the huge score was laid by openers Gull Feroza and Sadaf Shamas, who built a remarkable 189-run partnership for the first wicket. Their aggressive yet controlled batting kept Zimbabwe under pressure throughout the innings.

Gull Feroza played a superb knock of 100 runs, reaching her century with elegant stroke play and excellent timing. She dominated the bowling attack and ensured Pakistan got the perfect start. Her innings included several boundaries and smart running between the wickets.
At the other end, Sadaf Shamas continued her outstanding form and scored 101 runs. With this century, she became the first Pakistani woman cricketer to score fifty-plus runs in four consecutive ODI innings. Her consistency has become a major strength for Pakistan Women during the series.
Middle-order batter Sidra Amin also made a valuable contribution by remaining unbeaten on 59 runs. Her calm batting in the final overs helped Pakistan Women cross the 340-run mark and set a challenging target for Zimbabwe Women.
In reply, Zimbabwe Women struggled against Pakistan’s disciplined bowling attack and were bowled out for just 137 runs. Pesi Panoia scored 33 runs, while Modester Mupachikwa contributed 29, but the visitors failed to build any significant partnerships during the chase.
