Pakistani runners delivered an outstanding performance at the Boston Marathon 2026, once again proving their strength on the global stage.
A total of 13 runners from Pakistan and the overseas Pakistani community successfully completed one of the world’s most prestigious marathons.

Muhammad Amjad Ali from Karachi, a police constable, emerged as the fastest Pakistani runner by finishing the race in 2 hours, 42 minutes, and 45 seconds.
Syed Hamza, based in the United States, secured second position among Pakistanis with a time of 2:51:06, while Nizar Niyani finished third at 3:01:44.

Norway-based Fasih Saleh achieved a personal best of 3:10:36, while UK-based runners Shehzada Hussain, Basheera Anjum, and Maheen Sheikh also delivered impressive performances.
Additionally, Jahanzeb Mughal, Nausherwan Ali, and Bilal Ahsan achieved the prestigious Six Star Finisher milestone.

Bilal Ahsan made a strong comeback after injury, finishing in 3:23:53, while Nausherwan Ali described his journey as one of self-discovery and personal growth.
