Pakistani digital creator Rajab Butt has sent another defamation legal notice to former wife Eman Asad, according to her lawyer. The development has added another dispute between the former couple.
Eman Asad’s lawyer said Rajab Butt accused his former wife of making and sharing comments, reels and videos that allegedly aimed to defame him. However, the lawyer said the notice did not include evidence supporting the allegations.
According to the lawyer, Eman Asad’s legal team has submitted a response to the notice. They also asked Rajab Butt’s side to provide evidence related to the claims so they can review and respond to them properly.
The lawyer further said this was not the first legal notice sent by Rajab Butt. A previous notice was reportedly issued around his birthday and also involved allegations of defamation and the custody of their son.
Meanwhile, Rajab Butt remains one of Pakistan’s widely followed digital creators. He has around 9 million followers on YouTube, 3 million on Instagram and nearly 1 million on TikTok.
The latest notice has therefore brought renewed attention to the ongoing legal dispute. Eman Asad’s lawyer described the notice as an apparent attempt to harass his client and said they would continue to respond through legal channels.
For now, the matter remains a legal dispute between the former couple. The allegations made in the notice have not been established in court, while Eman Asad’s legal team continues to seek supporting evidence for the claims.
