Russia has carried out a series of overnight strikes across Ukraine, resulting in at least one death and more than 30 injuries, according to Ukrainian officials. The latest escalation is part of ongoing Russia Ukraine attacks involving drones, missiles, and artillery shelling on multiple regions.
Authorities in Ukraine said residential areas in Odesa were heavily affected after drones struck buildings, including a school and a kindergarten. Local officials reported injuries among civilians, including children, as emergency services responded to widespread damage.
In a separate wave of Russia Ukraine attacks, the city of Dnipro was hit by missile strikes that injured at least 18 people. Regional officials confirmed that two children were among the wounded, highlighting the continued impact on civilian populations.
Further south, Zaporizhzhia also came under fire, where at least three people were injured. Ukrainian authorities said infrastructure and residential zones were targeted during the overnight assault.
In the Kherson region, officials reported the most severe impact, where one person was killed and nine others injured. These developments add to the growing toll from repeated Russia Ukraine attacks across southern Ukraine.
Meanwhile, Russian authorities claimed that Ukrainian drones were intercepted over regions such as Rostov and Belgorod. Both sides continue to accuse each other of cross-border strikes while denying intentional targeting of civilians.
The latest Russia Ukraine attacks underscore the ongoing intensity of the conflict, which continues to cause civilian casualties and widespread destruction despite repeated international calls for de-escalation.
