Gold Prices Surge To Rs433,836 Per Tola In Pakistan

The Pakistan gold price continued its upward trend on Wednesday as 24-carat gold gained Rs4,600 per tola to reach Rs433,836, marking the second consecutive day of increases. The rise followed strong gains in the international bullion market, where gold prices also moved higher.

According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the international price of gold increased by $46 to $4,114 per ounce. The stronger global market supported another significant increase in domestic gold prices.

In Pakistan’s local market, the price of 10 grams of 24-carat gold rose by Rs3,944 to Rs371,944. The latest increase reflects continued investor demand for the precious metal amid changing global economic conditions.

Silver prices also recorded modest gains on Wednesday. The price of silver per tola increased by Rs7 to Rs6,403, while the price of 10 grams rose by Rs6 to Rs5,489, according to the APGJSA.

The latest rally comes a day after gold prices surged by Rs4,700 per tola, pushing the price to Rs429,236 on Tuesday. During the same session, the price of 10 grams of gold increased by Rs4,029 to Rs368,000.

Gold had closed at Rs424,536 per tola on Monday after a comparatively modest increase of Rs300. The continued upward movement over the past two sessions highlights the influence of international bullion market trends on domestic prices.

Market analysts say investors continue to favour gold as a safe-haven asset during periods of global economic uncertainty. The latest rise in the Pakistan gold price reflects stronger international demand and ongoing volatility in global financial markets.
