The ongoing Balochistan Operation Shaban continues as Pakistan’s security forces carry out coordinated operations in the Shaban area. According to security sources, the joint operation involves the Pakistan Army, Frontier Corps (FC), and police, with the objective of targeting militants operating in the region.
Security sources stated that fresh operations resulted in the reported killing of nine militants. The action was carried out using both aerial and ground-based operations as security personnel continued search-and-clearance efforts in the affected area.
According to the same sources, the latest action has increased the reported number of militants killed during Operation Shaban to 52. Officials said the operation remains active as forces continue intelligence-based missions aimed at locating and dismantling militant hideouts.
Security sources further claimed that since 5 July, a total of 88 militants have been killed in separate operations conducted across different parts of Balochistan. These figures have been provided by security officials and have not been independently verified.
Authorities say the joint operation is part of broader efforts to strengthen security, improve stability, and counter militant activities in the province. The operation combines intelligence gathering, surveillance, and coordinated action by multiple law enforcement and security agencies.
Officials have reiterated that security operations will continue until all identified militant threats in the area are addressed. They added that forces remain on high alert to prevent further attacks and maintain law and order across sensitive districts.
