The Marka-e-Haq ceremony in Karachi highlighted Pakistan’s resilience, as PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari praised the armed forces, diplomacy, and national unity. Addressing the gathering, he said the country has endured challenges and continues to rise stronger with each test.
Speaking at the Marka-e-Haq ceremony, Bilawal noted that Pakistan had faced a period of uncertainty about a year ago. He said rising border tensions had created fears of conflict, but the nation stood united and emerged stronger through collective resolve.
He emphasized that Pakistan’s history is rooted in struggle and sacrifice since its creation in 1947. According to him, victories are not only achieved through military strength but also through determination, courage, and the spirit of the people.
Bilawal highlighted the role of unity across the country, from northern regions to coastal areas. He said the armed forces defended the nation with discipline and dignity, while diplomats effectively presented Pakistan’s stance on international platforms.
Reaffirming the country’s stance, he said Pakistan seeks peace but will never compromise on its sovereignty. He also warned against external elements attempting to distort historical narratives and misrepresent facts.
At the same Marka-e-Haq ceremony, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah stated that Pakistan does not want war but remains fully prepared to defend itself. He claimed that the country responded swiftly to threats and maintained strategic readiness.
Other speakers, including Sharjeel Inam Memon, described the event as a symbol of national pride. The ceremony underscored Pakistan’s commitment to peace, unity, and strong defence, while remembering past challenges and achievements.
