Ishaq Dar Visits Data Darbar, Reviews Development Projects

The Data Darbar development projects were reviewed on Saturday as Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar visited the shrine of Hazrat Ali Hujwiri (RA) in Lahore and offered prayers for national peace and prosperity.

During his visit, Ishaq Dar was received by senior officials of the Auqaf Department, including the Secretary Auqaf and the Data Darbar administration, who briefed him on ongoing renovation and improvement work.

The Data Darbar development projects include infrastructure upgrades, better facilities for pilgrims, and improvements in administrative arrangements to ensure smoother visitor management at the shrine complex.

He also chaired a detailed meeting on development activities, including arrangements for the traditional bathing (ghusl) ceremony, emphasizing efficiency and improved crowd management.

Officials informed the Deputy Prime Minister about ongoing construction, beautification efforts, and service improvements aimed at enhancing the overall experience for visitors.

Ishaq Dar appreciated the progress of the Data Darbar development projects and instructed authorities to further upgrade facilities, especially during peak pilgrimage events.

He stressed that providing high-quality services to pilgrims is a top priority and directed all departments to coordinate effectively for better management and visitor comfort.
