Pakistan sovereignty India tensions have once again come into focus as Information Minister Atta Tarar warned that the country will not compromise on its sovereignty. He stated that any aggressive move by India would be met with a decisive response.
Addressing a press conference in Islamabad, Atta Tarar said a year has passed since the Pahalgam incident, which he described as a “false flag operation.” He claimed India has failed to present credible evidence supporting its stance.
He pointed out that the quick registration of a case within minutes of the incident raised serious questions about its authenticity. According to him, Pakistan sovereignty India tensions are fueled by such unresolved and controversial events.
Tarar further stated that international media, civil society groups, and analysts have also raised concerns about the incident. He criticized Indian media for promoting what he called a fabricated narrative without solid proof.
The minister emphasized that the issue of Kashmir remains an internationally recognized dispute, despite India’s claims that it is an internal matter. He accused India of distorting facts to suit its narrative.
He also raised concerns about the treatment of minorities in India, alleging that Muslims and other communities are facing discrimination under extremist ideologies. He further claimed evidence exists linking India to activities destabilizing Pakistan.
Reiterating Pakistan’s stance, Atta Tarar said the country remains committed to combating terrorism and safeguarding its sovereignty. He warned that Pakistan sovereignty India tensions could escalate if any provocation occurs, adding that a firm and decisive response would be ensured.
