Security Forces Kill 4 Terrorists in KP Operations

Pakistan’s security forces killed four terrorists during two separate intelligence-based operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, according to a statement issued by the military’s media wing. The latest KP Counter Terrorism Operations were conducted in Dera Ismail Khan and Mohmand districts.

The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said the operations were launched after receiving intelligence regarding the presence of militants in the two areas. Security personnel acted swiftly and carried out targeted operations against the suspected hideouts.

During the first of the KP Counter Terrorism Operations, security forces conducted an intelligence-based raid in Dera Ismail Khan district. Troops engaged the militants in an intense exchange of fire, resulting in the deaths of two terrorists.

A second operation was carried out in Mohmand district, where security forces successfully neutralised two additional terrorists. The military described the engagement as effective and professionally executed by the troops involved.

According to the ISPR, weapons and ammunition were recovered from the slain militants. The statement added that the individuals had allegedly been involved in terrorist activities and attacks in the region.

Following the operations, security forces launched sanitisation efforts to ensure no other militants remained in the affected areas. Authorities stated that such actions form part of the broader national campaign against terrorism under the government’s security framework.

The recent KP Counter Terrorism Operations reflect Pakistan’s continued efforts to combat militancy and improve security conditions. Officials have reiterated their commitment to eliminating terrorist threats and maintaining peace across the country.
