8 Terrorists Killed in Security Operation in Dera Ismail Khan

Security forces have killed eight terrorists during an intelligence-based operation in Dera Ismail Khan, according to security sources. The operation was launched after intelligence reports indicated the presence of terrorists in the area.

Sources said that three key commanders of Fitna al-Khawarij were among those killed during the operation. Security personnel targeted the suspected hideout after receiving information about the presence of militants in the district.

A significant quantity of weapons and ammunition was recovered during the operation, according to security sources. Foreign currency was also found in the possession of the militants killed during the action.

The operation was carried out on the basis of intelligence information regarding the presence and activities of terrorists in Dera Ismail Khan. Security forces conducted the action as part of ongoing efforts to counter militant activity in the region.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif paid tribute to the security forces following the reported killing of eight terrorists. He praised the timely operation and appreciated the personnel involved in the action.

The prime minister said the entire nation stands with the security forces in the fight against terrorism. He stressed that eliminating terrorism is essential for maintaining peace and stability across the country.

Shehbaz Sharif also praised the courage and determination of security personnel and reiterated that operations against terrorists would continue until the threat of terrorism is eliminated.
