India and UAE Sign Major Defense, Energy and Investment Agreements

India and the United Arab Emirates have signed major agreements covering defense cooperation, energy security, and investment during a high-level visit by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

According to official statements, the two countries agreed to deepen strategic defense collaboration as part of expanding bilateral relations.

Energy cooperation was a key focus of the agreements, including arrangements related to oil storage and long-term energy security partnerships.

Both sides also reached an understanding on the supply of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), strengthening energy trade between the two nations.

In addition, the UAE committed to investing around $5 billion in India’s infrastructure sector, including investments in RBL Bank and Suman Capital.

The agreements reflect growing economic and strategic ties between India and the UAE, particularly in areas of trade, energy, and financial cooperation.

Officials say these deals are expected to further enhance long-term economic stability and regional cooperation between both countries.
